Reminder of order and decorum: Persons wishing to speak on agenda items must raise their hand and, when recognized, address the Chair. Each member of the audience is entitled to speak once for up to two minutes on any agenda item unless otherwise directed by the chair.

A.   Crime fighting recommendations in Downtown (20 minutes)

1.  Increase in foot patrols in high crime areas

2.  Foot patrols in the evening

3.  Use of 4th patrol (training) officers to fight crime and not enforce ticketing

4.  Placement of toadstools at bus stop at Kamalii Park

B.   Path Clinic – presentation by Cindy Nguyen (5 minutes)

C.   Allow Neighborhood Commission Office to send letters to enforce attendance requirements of Board members (3 minutes)

D.   Noise and other issues arising from Mall Café, Pauahi Street – make recommendations to Liquor Commission

E.   Possible declaration (and filling) of vacancy – Anthony Marlin’s seat.  Certified letter sent February 2009 (3 minutes)

F.  Creation of Permitted Interactive Group (PIG) to deal with crime related issues (5 minutes)

G.  Mayor’s speech on streamlining the Neighborhood Board system (5 minutes)

A.   The next regular meeting is scheduled for April 2, 2009, Pauahi Community Center, 171 North

      Pauahi Street at 7:00 p.m.

B.   The Neighborhood Citizen’s Patrol meets each Tuesday on the Diamondhead side of Kukui Plaza at

      8:00 p.m. Please consider joining the patrol and supporting its efforts as they express their service

      and pride in our Downtown/Chinatown community.
