Aloha, I'm Maureen "Miguel" Andrade, an incumbent, '69 grad of Waipahu HS. Office manager for the newly elected rep. from Waipahu, Henry Aquino. I'm president of Village Park Comm. Assoc. & member of various non-profit organizations in Waipahu. I would like to continue to serve our community & ask for your vote.

I am a legislative research attorney who had the pleasure of serving you on the Neighborhood Board for the last two years.  I believe that as Oahu is revitalized through mass transit and development, so will Waipahu. Together, we have the opportunity to shape our community for the future.

As a Neighborhood Board Member for 2 years, I would like to continue serving the community. Resident of Waipahu for 27 years, currently employed at the Neighborhood Commission Office, work part time at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel and also a Foster Parent. I will strive hard to make Waipahu a better place.

I joined the Neighborhood board in 2008 as a resident of sub district 7 out of concern that our voices were not being represented by way of a vacancy on the board since June 05. I wish to continue in my capacity as your board member expanding my representation of Waipahu as a board member at large.

Current Chrm of the Waip NB. Supports sensible planning & dev in Waip. Serves on the Bd of Hawaii's Plant Village. Earned a masters degree in Public Adm from George Wash U in Wash DC & works at Queens Med Ctr as Lab Rel Coord. Wants to reduce crime; imprv our schools & ease traffic congestion.

 

Pagan, David Lee M.

Elect David Pagan at large Waipahu Neighborhood Board. I will do my best for Waipahu. Help City to make strong plan by working with Waipahu area residents. Public school education and traffic safety. Reelect David Pagan.

 

Parayno, Ilalo B.

As a long-term resident of Waipahu for 43 years, I would like to continue serving the community. I retired as an educator with the Hawaii Department of Education with 41 years of continued service. I was a teacher and retired as an educational officer (Vice Principal James Campbell High School)

My name is Rito Saniatan. I am honored to have served as your Treasurer for WNB past four years. I am a recent returnee to Hawaii and homeowner in the renaissance community in Waipahu (2004). I am a retired federal government meteorologist (35 years) and air force weather officer (38 yrs). I am currently employed as a session legislative aide for Senator Clarence Nishihara.

I teach medical careers at Waipahu High School and live in Village Park. In January, I helped three of my students organize a free health fair at Pupuole Community Park. I am eager to serve Waipahu and I have a strong interest in issues related to education, health, poverty, and employment.

Aloha, Seeking 4th term to NB 22.  Village park resident for 15 yrs, treasurer VPCA, licensed supervising electrician for union contractor, member Waipahu TOD advisory comm. I want to continue to help make Waipahu a better place to live, improve traffic, fight graffiti and maintain programs for our keiki. Mahalo.

A retired Air Force colonel and 21-year Waipahu resident, I've represented my community on NB 22 since 1990. My service on several local community organization boards and in my church gives me a unique opportunity to work with Waipahu's people. Aloha neighbors, it was two years ago that I asked you to give me a chance to serve you as a member of the neighborhood Board. I hope that I have not let you down. Born & raised in Waipahu, '66 grad of Waipahu HS. Current Vice-Chair and employed by Councilmember Nestor Garcia.  Served on the board for 5 yrs and want to continue my participation to ensure that our quality of life is always protected.  Your vote is greatly appreciated.

 

Wheatley, Chuck B.

Resident of Hawaii 51 years. Living in Waipahu 31 years. USMC 10 years. Police Officer in North Carolina. Member Waipahu Comm. Assoc. Member numerous boards and committees in Hawaii. Dedicated community volunteer. I desire to protect seniors, disabled, and children. Waipahu is my home.

 

Yakowenko, George

Current member of WNB for 10 years. Retired army sergeant major + Dept. of Army quality assurance supervisor. Volunteer activities include weed + seed program, neighborhood security watch, and special enforcement officer for HPD. Want to improve crime prevention, traffic + parking problems. Mahalo!
