I am a current neighborhood board member. I am a hardworking union carpenter. I live in Kalihi and I will try to do what is best for my neighborhood. I am also a very active member of the weed and see program.

I have been a Kalihi-Palama Neighborhood Board member #15 for two years from 2006-2008 and I also participate in my Kalihi-Palama Weed –N- Seed adopt a block as a community resident of Kalihi-Palama on Pua Lane with the U.S. Attorney General for the Weed –N- Seed in the City and County storm drain.

I was rasied in the old neighborhood of Vineyard St. Attended Kaulawela Elementary, Central Int. School, McKinley HS, HCC, and UH. I worked for GTE for 28 years and retired in Nov. 1996 from Verizon Co. as a Circuit Designer. I wish to serve my community and make it a better place to live and work.

Current board member. President of Na Ho Aloha o ka Loi Kalo. Born and raised in Honolulu. Married with 2 children. Public servant 20 years. Education: St. Theresa School and McKinley High. Community Service: neighborhood security watch & patrol, adopt a lock & park, Kalihi vision plan & community clean-ups.

Current Chairperson of this Board. Education: St. Francis High School, Honolulu Business College (formerly). Board of Directors: Kalihi-Palama Community Council. My main purpose for running is for the health and safety of our community, especially concentrating on our senior citizens.

Ken Harding is a fulltime private tutor in lang-arts and PT grad student in education. Ex-Peace Corps vol; has helped many non-profits groups in HI w fundraising, mem. dev., and service learning. Degrees from Yale and Stanford, MD, 4 children, 3 grandkids. HI resident 42 yrs; Kalihi res. 11 years. At your service!
