Current member of NB#8. Have worked on vision team + chair of NB's Affordable Housing & Homelessness Committee. Will work on transit to ensure affordable rentals are included. Vision: reduce dumping + graffiti, support parks + green belts + safety for Moiliili-McCully.

Resident of Hawaii since 1978. Retired Army Officer. Currently realtor associate at Prudential Locations. Married wife Kisun. Daughter Christal. Served on NB #8 from August '08 to present.

Resides with wife Betsy in Bingham tract in McCully since 1972. Neighborhood Board No. 8 since 2/2002 Education: Kaimuki HS, 1961, California College of the Arts, BFA, '68. Graphic Designer & Illustrator, 1968 to present. Serves on the vestry of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church. Interests: fishing & diving.

 

Lockwood, Ron

Aloha. I've had the honor of representing our community for many years. We have worked hard on graffiti, noise from rubbish trucks, and pedestrian safety. The planning of our community is also of highest priority, especially with the rail project coming. I've lived in the comm. for 30+ years with my family.

It has been my privilege to represent the lower McCully area of our neighborhood for the past years. Working with our State government officials to solve problems in our residential area has been very rewarding, and I would like to continue to do so with your approval.

Aloha! I believe our neighborhood boards can be the best way for our residents to get involved & stay involved! Together we can make our boards an effective voice for our community. Let's bring the past year's energy into our neighborhood board & make change happen!

Former Neighborhood Chair 1997 to 2001. Transportation and Planning Chair 2007-2008. I have been a board member with broad experience on board matters. I have a track record as someone who stands up for residents.
