CATER, John W.

Served on Kaimuki & Waikiki Neighborhood Boards more than 16 years. Current Board member NB4, subdistrict 1. Graduate mechanical engineer and Law School (Hawaii 1976). Former member Parent Scouters Guild Troop 10. I favor more police presence in Kaimuki. Together, let's keep Kaimuki Kaimuki.

Kaimuki resident 24 years. Current NB 4 Board member. Community facilitator. Founding member & Exec Director of GEHCA. Some projects: Kaimuki Trolley; Kaimuki Kanikapila 2002/03; Waialae Ave. Business District Improvement; Municipal Parking Project, community service in Kaimuki & Palolo.

AALTO, Anthony

A journalist with global experience. I live in Maunalani Hts with my wife Jayne, who runs the Queens Hospital cancer center acupuncture program, and my 12 year old son. I love Kaimuki, fear the effects of recession and will fight to protect our neighborhood. I volunteer at the city homeless shelter.

Nahoopii, Daniel

Hard working local boy from Kaimukī. Will work with the city to fix our streets, maintain parks & put more effort in combating crime. Together we will develop a master plan to keep Kaimukī a vibrant comm. Former member of Kaimukī & Kapahulu NBs. Member of Ala Wai Watershed Assoc. & Hawaiian Civic Clubs.

Rybacki-Smith, Dori K.

It has been my pleasure and honor to serve for the past two years. As an attorney and Realtor my goal is to ensure easy and clear access to all government agencies, to make sure that our voices are heard, that we are fully informed, and that we understand the impact of the decisions being made.

SCHNEIDER, Sharon T.

As a long time resident of Kaimuki, I would like to continue contributing in keeping Kaimuki a dynamic neighborhood. Serving as vice-chair for the last two years I've found the board effective in engaging our elected officials about our community's concerns. I am also active with several non-profits.

Tam, Leonard K.H.

I have lived in Kaimuki for over 55 years. I served on the KNB for 10 years, from October 1993 thru December 2003 and returned to the Board in June of 2008. I have worked on many projects to help maintain our quality of life. My latest project is trying to keep the Kaimuki Christmas tree lit.

Yamada, Lori K.

Born and raised in the Kaimuki area. Served on the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board 1995-2005. Community volunteer. Has worked with several local non-profits in leadership roles. Wants to keep Kaimuki's unique small town atmosphere.

Systems Mgr, Hawaii State Pub Lib Sys. Kaimuki Nbrhd Bd member from 1989 to 2004 (6 yrs as Chair/15 yrs as Nwsltr Editor). Resigned to care for wife. Returned 2007. Elected Interim Chair 2007, Chair 2008 to present. Believes firmly in hearing all sides of issues before Board.

I am a former chairman of another Neighborhood Board. I now serve on the Kaimuki board. I would like to continue serving Kaimuki as a member of the board. I ask for your vote so that I may continue doing this work.
