The City's Department of Human Resources (DHR) conducts the Fire Fighter Recruit examination approximately every two to three years.  Information can be viewed by navigating to the City's DHR web page at: http://www.honolulu.gov/hr/ and clicking on the "Jobs" button.  For employment information, please call 808-527-5770.

The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) purchases their patches from their uniform supplier.  Individual fire fighters may trade patches, but the HFD does not maintain a supply.  In the future, an e-mail list may be provided to contact fire fighters about trading patches.  To purchase patches, T-shirts, or other HFD memorabilia in the meantime, please e-mail Uniforms Hawaii or call the Honolulu City Store at 808-955-3075.
