Advisory Opinion No. 58 This is in response to your letter of March 19, 1976, requesting this Commission to review the consequences of the promotion given to Employee X because he has a real estate salesman's license. We understand the salient facts to be as follows:
Based on the testimony of Employee X, a review of his revised job description, and functions of the division of which he is a member, we are of the opinion that there is no apparent conflict of interest. However, we caution that the caveat contained in Opinion No. 46 be observed by Employee X. Dated: Honolulu, Hawai‘i, June 23, 1976. ETHICS COMMISSION
