This application is for businesses that need to discharge temporarily into the sewer system. This includes chlorinated water, grey water, cooling tower water, or any other polluted water that cannot be disposed of through the storm drain, landscaping or watering.

Any business that discharges fats, oils and grease (FOG) must connect all kitchen fixtures to a Grease Interceptor (GI). Kitchen fixtures include sinks, floor drains, dish washers, etc. GIs must be properly maintained, and are subject to inspection by City inspectors. Below are documents that further detail requirements for controlling FOG discharges.

This application is only for businesses that have grease interceptors that are fifty (50) gallons or less. Service records must be maintained. The self cleaner may also be required to demonstrate their self cleaning procedure.
