WINDWARD HALF MARATHON RACE SERIES Run sponsored by Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii.  The event is expected to have 750 runners.  HALF MARATHON:  Start: Kailua Intermediate School at Kainalu Dr., to Kailua Rd., to Aumoe Rd., to Mahealani Pl., to Kakahiaka St., to Wanaao Dr., counterclockwise around Keolu Dr., to Wanaao Dr., to Kakahiaka St., to Mahealani Pl., to aumoe Rd., to Kailua Rd., to Kainalu Dr., to Kaiunui Dr., to Mokapu Blvd., to Old Mokapu Rd., to Kaimalino St., turnaround, to end at Kailua Intermediate School.  5K RUN:  Start: Kainalu Dr., to Kaha St., to Kainui Dr., to Kainalu Dr., to end at Kailua Intermediate School.  KEIKI 1MILE RUN:  Start: Kuukama St., to Kuuala St., to Kuupau St., to end at Kailua Intermediate School.  KEIKI 100YARD DASH:  Start/Finish within Kailua Intermediate School.  Contact:  Susan Friedl 255-7811

NIKETOWN 5K RUN/WALK sponsored by Niketown Honolulu. The event is  expected to have 8,000 runners.  It will start at Kalakaua Ave. near Niketown, to Kalakaua Ave., pass Kapahulu/Monsarrat Aves., u turn just pass New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel parking entrance, right onto Monsarrat Ave., left back onto Kalakaua Ave., to end at Kalakaua Ave. near Niketown. Kalakaua Ave. all lanes will be closed and traffic diverted to Kuhio Ave. at approx 6:30 am.
