ORGANIZATION CHART

The legislative branch of the City and County.  Its major duties include setting city-wide policies by enacting ordinances and adopting resolution related to municipal government; initiates new municipal programs; adopts the annual operating and capital programs and budgets; adopts measure to balance the budget including the setting of property tax rates; adopts a general plan for city and land use laws; confirms department heads and boards and commission members and fixes fees and charges for all city services and the use of city property.
