All personnel assigned to the HFD's Hazmat response units have attended extensive training in the Chemistry of Hazardous Materials (80 hours), Hazmat Incident Tactics (80 hours), specialized equipment use, and annual continuing education (CE).  The HFD Hazmat response units are stationed at Kalihi Uka, near the Honolulu metropolitan area, and in Kapolei near the Campbell Industrial Park area.
